Deposits paid in full can be made in person, over the phone, or by mail.

Establishment of a payment plan must be done in person in the Business Center.

Payments ordered to be paid to the Department of Corrections should be paid online through the Department of Corrections epay system.

Enter the six (6) digit DOC number or if you don't have a DOC number enter the offender ID number.  It will show what is due: court costs, restitution or supervision fees.  Priority will be given to restitution.

For payments due to the court refer to Pay Court Fines or Fees.

Payment plan arrangements must be made in person and established before the due date.

A deposit is required and there is a statutory $15.00 payment plan fee added to payment plans.

Payment amounts will be based on the ability to pay and determined by the Court Collection Officer.

Once your payment plan is set up you may make your payment by phone, mail, in person, online or automatically through recurring automatic payment withdrawal from a credit/debit card.  Processing fees for credit/debit cards are 2.75%.

If you prefer a recurring automatic payment please complete the recurring credit/debit card payment form and bring with you when setting up your payment plan.  If you are setting up recurring payments over the phone the form may be mailed back and must be received prior to the due date.

It is important to stay current on your payment plan and to contact our office if you anticipate being late with a payment.  Payment plans will be terminated for non-payment and may result in entry of  civil judgment and certification to Waukesha County Collections Division for tax intercept, wage garnishment and/or bank levy.

If a debt is past due, a civil judgment may have been entered.  This judgment will remain unsatisfied until full amount is due to creditor and a $5.00 satisfaction fee is paid.  An unsatisfied debt could adversely affect your credit rating and, consequently, your ability to obtain a loan.  Civil judgments can be found on Wisconsin Court Access. If you need to satisfy a judgment on a civil case review the Satisfaction of Judgment page in the civil division.

Past due debts may be sent to Waukesha County Collections Division for collections including tax intercept, wage garnishment and/or bank levy.  Once a debt has been sent to the Waukesha County Collections Division payment arrangements should be made with them.  They can be reached at 262-548-7876.  If your past due debt is at the Waukesha County Collections Division, you can make payments online using Waukesha County Citepay Portal
