Mandatory Mediation
Pursuant to Local Rule 6.4, all Waukesha County contested Small Claims matters are ordered to proceed through mediation.
For all contested cases, after the Defendant files their written Answer with the court, the Plaintiff is required to initiate scheduling mediation within ten (10) business days of the filed Answer.
Pursuant to Local Rule 6.4, the parties may use any mutually agreed upon mediator. If the parties cannot mutually agree upon a mediator, Mediation Resolutions or a mediator designated by the Court shall be used.
