Wage Earner Action §128

A Wage Earner Action (Ch. 128 Amortization of Debts) is a case filed by an individual whose principal source of income consists of wages or salary, and who is unable to meet current debts as they mature, but is able to make regular future payments on accounts sufficient to amortize the debts over a period of not more than three (3) years, and that he or she desires the aid of the court to effectuate the amortization, regardless of the amount owed. They are handled as Large Claims matters in the Civil Court and may be electronically filed or paper filed in the Civil Division of the Waukesha County Courthouse.
