- Locating the other parent and financial assets;
- Scheduling genetic testing;
- Preparing paperwork and representing the State in court to establish legal paternity and a support order;
- Health insurance for the child(ren);
- Submitting income withholding to the payor’s employer;
- Utilizing all suitable enforcement measures, such as tax intercept, driver’s license suspension, liens against real and personal property, and seizing bank accounts to collect owed support;
- Reviewing and modifying the support order as needed;
and - Terminating the support order when appropriate.
