Judge Michael Bohren Announces Retirement

Judge Michael Bohren has announced his early retirement effective April 30, 2025. Judge Bohren has been a mainstay on the Waukesha County bench for 25 years and is well known for the many high profile and difficult cases that he has presided over.
"He has done his best to improve the quality of life in Waukesha County and to contribute to the bench and bar. We will miss him on the Waukesha County Bench and thank him for his service to Waukesha County," Presiding Judge Hon. Ralph M. Ramirez said.
Since Judge Bohren is retiring after the April Election, Governor Evers would have the ability to appoint the winner of the April 1st election earlier or wait until that term starts which is August 1st.
