Household Hazardous Waste

All sites are free to Waukesha County residents. You must show proof of residency.

At collection sites:

  • Stay in your car at all times

  • Show proof of Waukesha County residency

  • Arrive with all items in the trunk

  • All items in a box or container for easy collection. You will get your gas can back.

Product Exchange Program

Cleaning, automotive, and garden products can be donated for other residents to take home and repurpose. The program is available at all county permanent household hazardous waste sites (view locations). Quantities and types of materials available may vary, and participants must sign a liability waiver and standard release form.
