Donate a bench to honor a loved one, commemorate a special event, or support our community's natural outdoor spaces.

Engraved Boardwalk Donation at Menomonee Park Dog Exercise Area

This is an opportunity for Menomonee Dog Exercise Area users to contribute to the ongoing park enhancements.

Purchase personalized engraved planks to be installed on Waukesha County Parks' newest recreation boardwalk located in Menomonee Park's large breed Dog Exercise Area. Recognize family, friends, your business, a favorite quote, a special event or memory, and more.

Engraved Boardwalk Plank Donation at Retzer Nature Center

Leave Your Mark at Retzer Nature Center provides an opportunity for patrons to contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the Nature Center.

Purchase personalized engraved planks to be installed on a recreation boardwalk located in the Retzer Nature Center trail system. Recognize family, friends, your business, a favorite quote, a special event or memory, and more.

Cost:

• $300/Plank

Details:
• Each six-foot, recycled composite boardwalk plank can accommodate messages up to 76 characters (including spaces).
• Longer message? Purchase more than one plank for additional space -- or purchase more to get artistic!

Additional Information:
Financial gifts to the Leave Your Mark program directly impact Retzer Nature Center, and funds will be applied to the highest priority projects that are planned to enhance existing and future amenities and programs.

Enhancements may include trail and wayfinding improvements, land management activities, new educational facilities, and more. Projects are prioritized annually based on need. 

Charitable contributions given directly to Waukesha County are tax-deductible under section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Leave Your Mark at Howell Oaks Subdivision Boardwalk Project

The Howell Oaks Subdivision Leave Your Mark boardwalk will connect the Howell Oaks Subdivision to Retzer Nature Center's grounds and trails (view map). Contribute to ongoing enhancements of the Nature Center with a purchase of personalized engraved boardwalk planks!

• $200/Plank
