Parks Forms and Permits

Some activities at Waukesha County Parks may require you to obtain a permit.

Update Your Annual Membership License Plate

You can update the license plate information applied to your Annual Park or Lake Access Membership.

Required: The original receipt number from your purchase.  Find it in your account, on your email receipt, or on the paperwork received when purchased in person.

Visit our online services site and look for the License Plate Update Form.

GeoCaching Permit 

To place a physical or virtual cache, you must obtain written permission from the Waukesha County Park System.  For each cache location, complete a separate application form and provide a map.

Complete and submit the no-fee GeoCaching permit application form and review the form for all guidelines and requirements.

Baptism Permit 

A permit is required for baptism service in any Waukesha County Park System pond or lake.

Unmanned Aircraft / Drone Use Permit

You must have a permit to fly an unmanned aircraft in any Waukesha County Park. A permit is valid for one year

Metal Detection Permit

You must have a permit to do metal detecting in any Waukesha County Park. The permit is valid for one year

Scuba Diving Permit

Scuba diving is welcome at Fox Brook and Menomonee Parks with permit. The permit is valid for one year

Trail Camera Permit

You must have a permit for each trail camera placed in a Waukesha County Park. The permit number must be displayed permanently on the trail camera (eg. engraving, permanent marker).  The permit is valid for one year

Triathlon Training Permit

You must have a permit to do Triathlon Swim Training in any Waukesha County Park System pond or lake. The permit is good for one year.
