Waukesha County Shoreland Protection Ordinance
The Shoreland Protection Ordinance applies to lands in unincorporated Townships and the Village of Lac La Belle within 1,000 feet of a lake and 300 feet of a river or stream or the 100 year floodplain, whichever is greater. In addition to the objectives of the Zoning Code, this Ordinance seeks to prevent water pollution and protect or improve the quality of lakes and streams.
