Waukesha County Airport

Welcome to the Waukesha County Airport!

If you’re tired of the hassle and inefficiency of commercial airline travel, there really is a better way.

Waukesha County Airport (Crites Field) is a full-service airport; open 24/7, located just 20 minutes from Downtown Milwaukee. As Wisconsin’s busiest general aviation airport, Waukesha County Airport efficiently serves the needs of both corporate and recreational pilots, by providing flight support, aircraft management and maintenance and more.

Waukesha County Airport is hosting "Food Truck Fridays" throughout the summer from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. This free, family-friendly event takes place outside the airport terminal building at 2525 Aviation Drive and runs through September 1st.

The public is invited to join the aviation community each Friday for lunch from a variety of food trucks. Enjoy delicious meals, airplane views, live ATC broadcasts, music, and opportunities to support local non-profit organizations. A portion of the food truck sales will be donated to the non-profit organization of the day. Come out to support these community organizations and savor your favorite food truck offerings while watching planes in action!

Please note that the selection of food trucks, menu options, and non-profit partners are subject to change, and food prices are determined by the food trucks.

For more details on the Food Truck Fridays schedule, menus (when available), and the featured non-profit of the day, visit the airport's website at https://www.waukeshacounty.gov/Airport/airportevents/ or follow the airport's social media accounts.

Waukesha County Airport ranks among the top 4% of General Aviation Airports in the United States. With 70,000 annual aircraft operations, the airport generates an $81 million economic impact for the surrounding community and supports nearly 1,000 jobs.
