Drone Safety

Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), or drones as they are often called, provide great aerial photography opportunities and are a lot of fun to fly, but they can be a safety concern to manned aircraft when operated close to airports. It is important to know that whenever you fly a drone at any altitude within 5 miles of Waukesha County Airport, you MUST file through Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability Provider (LAANC).
