Statement of Purpose: The purpose of the Register of Deeds office is to provide the citizens of Waukesha County a depository for safekeeping and public inspection of recorded legal documents pertaining to Land Records and Vital Records.

In-Person Service Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday (excluding holidays)
Recording Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday (excluding holidays)

Note: Vital Records stops processing all applications and documents promptly at 4:00pm each day.
