Biography
Darryl Enriquez is a seasoned journalist with a distinguished career spanning several prominent newspapers, including the Milwaukee Journal, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Waukesha Freeman, the Janesville Gazette, the Now group, and the Abilene Reporter-News. Throughout his career, Darryl has been instrumental in major news coverage, including award-winning reporting on the Jeffrey Dahmer homicides, investigative pieces on the failures of the Milwaukee Deep Tunnel, and a decade-long focus on Waukesha's pursuit of Lake Michigan water.
Darryl and his family have been residents of the Waukesha area since 1987. His journalistic journey began as a dock foreman for the Milwaukee Sentinel, where he honed his skills before earning a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
An avid outdoorsman, Darryl enjoys a variety of activities, including fishing, hunting, dog training, gardening, boating, hiking, and foraging for wild edibles. He also enjoys dabbling in golf, music, and auto mechanics.
Darryl has been married for 40 years and is the proud parent of two children and grandparent.
