District 20 - Thomas J. Schellinger

Tom Schellinger is a lifelong resident of Waukesha County, having grown up in Elm Grove and currently residing in Brookfield. He pursued his higher education at Marquette University.

Tom's public service began with six years of service on the Brookfield City Council from 2000 to 2006. He was subsequently elected to the County Board in 2006.

Professionally, Tom has enjoyed a successful career spanning over four decades in the car sales industry. He has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and has achieved significant success in sales, market share growth, and profitability. His leadership roles have encompassed a wide range of responsibilities, including hiring, training, business development, e-marketing, leasing, advertising, inventory control, and profit and loss management.

An active individual, Tom enjoys cycling on Waukesha County's bike trails and participates in softball, basketball, and tennis. He has a passion for travel, with Rome, Italy – where he studied abroad in college – holding a special place in his heart.
