District 22 - Gary J. Szpara

Gary Szpara brings over four decades of experience in the banking industry to his role on the County Board. His expertise includes analyzing and underwriting business loans, monitoring financial statements, and contributing to the bank's annual budget. With over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate lending, he has played a key role in financing various developments, including industrial projects, apartment complexes, condominiums, and residential subdivisions.

During his tenure at Marquette Savings Bank, Gary served as HR Manager, overseeing employee recruitment, reviews, terminations, payroll, and the employee health insurance program. He also oversaw the IT department, playing a crucial role in securing the necessary hardware and software to enhance the bank's efficiency.

In addition to his banking career, Gary serves as Board Chairman of the New Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, overseeing the coordination of the association's operations and day-to-day activities.

Gary and his wife reside in New Berlin and are proud grandparents.
