Biography
Jim Heinrich brings a wealth of experience in finance, public service, and community involvement to his role as Chairman. Born and raised in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, he grew up in a large family with eight siblings. Jim pursued higher education at Iowa State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree, and later obtained a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from George Washington University.
Jim's professional journey has been diverse. He began his career as an auditor with a national CPA firm in Washington, D.C. Upon returning to Wisconsin, he joined the tax team of another national CPA firm. He later transitioned to a smaller firm, specializing in serving small businesses. After 15 years in public accounting, he moved into the private sector, serving as CFO and Controller for distribution corporations, where he oversaw finance, human resources, and information technology departments. Jim is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Wisconsin and is affiliated with the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jim is deeply involved in his community. He serves as a Trustee for the Bridges Library System and the City of Brookfield Library Board. He previously served as an Alderman for the City of Brookfield from 1998 to 2007. Jim resides in Brookfield with his wife, Lynn, and their golden retriever, Izzy. His interests include gardening, fishing, running, golf, and reading. He is also an avid sports and theater enthusiast, enjoying his season tickets to Milwaukee Brewers games and frequenting the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Broadway Series, and Sunset Playhouse.
