An environmental health nuisance is a condition that may adversely affect the health, comfort, safety, or well-being of the public.

Human health hazards are substances, activities, or conditions that are known to have the potential to cause acute or chronic illness, injury, or death if exposure to the substance, activity or condition is not stopped.

How can Waukesha County Environmental health help me with my hazard or nuisance complaint? 

Waukesha County does not have a countywide human health hazard ordinance or housing code. However, many local jurisdictions have local nuisance or health hazard ordinances that may address hazards or conditions at residential properties.
