Emergency/Information and Referral 

The Department of Health and Human Services has an agreement with IMPACT 2-1-1 to provide trained Telephone Counselors available 24/7 to provide information, and referral telephone support. In addition, the Department of Health and Human Services provides intake and non-clinical assessment services for a variety of human service programs. This service is to protect the health, safety, and well-being of children and to provide support, counseling and other services to children and families to ameliorate the effects of child abuse and neglect.

As of November 1, 2013, IMPACT 2-1-1 is answering crisis and emergency calls formerly taken by 211 First Call for Help in Waukesha County. You can reach IMPACT 2-1-1 by dialing (414) 455-1736 or toll free at 1-866-211-3380.

Fees are charged for some of these services. Where applicable, such fees are computed according to state ability to pay guidelines.
